Over the course of his career, Jessie has primarily covered Sharpening and Pet Grooming topics. He has a deep desire to make complex subjects understandable to the general public, and He is obsessive about accuracy and openness.
Jessie is Sharp Edges's in-house writer with a combined 6 years of experience in the Sharpening and Pet Grooming Industry.
He founded Sharp Edges in 2017 because his family owned a grooming salon and boarding facility that was located in a rural community, and could not find a sharpener to service their equipment.
Education
Jessie received one on one training with some of the best sharpeners in the country. He strongly believes continuing education and attend multiple educational events each year to constantly maintain and improve his skill set and equipment.

- Wolff industries/Edge Pro sharpening seminar
- Bonika Sharpeners Jam
- Iowa sharpeners meet and greet.
Jessie will also be a speaker at the Kansas city grooming conference this year, teaching a class on grooming equipment maintenance.
