  • Phillip Screwdriver - No.1


How to Remove Your Old Andis Clipper Blade Drive?

Take the hinge off and clean what’s underneath. Take the lock keeper and put it in a safe place because you’ll need to put it back on later.


To take the blade drive off, you’re gonna need a number 1 Phillips screwdriver, it’s a small one.


Unfasten both of the screws. Pop your old blade drive off.

How to Install Your New Andis Clipper Blade Drive?

Before installing your new blade drive, stretch them first. If not, they’re kind of stiff and they’ll be loud once you put the clipper back together.



Set it down over those brass holes. Make sure they’re seated fully on both sides. Then once again, you take your number 1 screwdriver, put the screws back in, and get it snug. 



Once you get it snug, give it a quarter turn, no more than that because you don’t want to strip these out which they’ll strip out. Do the same thing to the rest of the screws.



We’ll flip the clipper over, take the lock keeper with that little rounded part of the lock facing up, set your hinge back on, tighten the hinge up, and you’re good to go.
