How to Put the Clipper Blade Assembly Together?

Get your spring and insert the socket so all the holes align. Take your blade guide and slide it underneath the spring.


Next, take your cutter blade and slide it on top of the comb blade rail. Take the spring assembly that we made earlier, and put it on top of the blades with the holes aligned.


Hold it firm and then fasten the screws to secure them in place.

How to Align the Clipper Blade Assembly Properly?

Once the blade assembly has been all put together, carefully adjust the cutter blade (the one at the top) so that it is about 1-2 thickness of credit cards away from the comb blade’s tip (the one at the bottom).


We want to be able to move this spring and, and play here to get what we call the setback, and right now as you can see it's too far forward.


So let's - we're gonna move it back a little bit and we're going for about 1 to 2 credit cards with a setback.
